The view of the pyramids is amazing
The view of the hotel was amazing, the welcome drink is something they should keep doing. People were very nice and patient. The food was very good. The hotel was very clean and they were renovating There was WiFi in all floors and rooms, very good ! The connection was not the best but we really appreciated the WiFi since many hotels don’t have it
We had only one town in the room The reception tried to sell lots of tours and sometimes too much I don’t recommend the tours The location is tough, the neighbourhood near the pyramids is very chaotic but the hotel is very clean and well equipped

We had an amazing stay , the staff was wonderful and always tried to meet our needs . We used a tour guide from the hote
The staff is amazing, very generous and helpful. Whatever our needs was they tried to accommodate them .
It is very noisy from the room we were in . WiFi was a bit challenging as the connection was bad . Everyday eating the same breakfast.

The only thing I liked from this hotel were the views from the terrace, the boys that manage the terrace and the breakfast. Breakfast was very nice and good quantity. Boys were very helpful and caring. Views are stunning.
I think the girl in the reception was having a bad day when we arrived. She wasn’t nice at all, very pushing to show her the confirmation email and to show her how much we had to pay for the room as if she wasn't aware of anything. Then, immediately after the check our room wasn’t ready yet and she started to try to sell us a lot of tours, we said a few times that we were not interested, but she continued, even the next morning she came to ask again about them. We didn’t have a good feeling about her. After that, we went to our room and the corridor was full of flies, in our room, there were a lot as well. The hotel is half done… it looks like is under construction.

A first and worst stay in Egypt
The best part of this hotel is the roof terrace. Having the view of the pyramids was amazing. Breakfast was good. Beds ok. Unfortunately that was about it. It's really cheap, but I wouldn't return. When we arrived they were doing work in the hotel cutting stone to the extent that we had to run up 6 flights of stairs through a dust cloud not able to see anything. They kept hammering way after midnight. We thought we had landed at a construction site. I can't understand why you wouldn't close your hotel for a few days if you do this type of work.
- We ordered dinner after arriving at night. We were the only guests. We waited for 90 minutes for a pizza and a plate of pasta. - The owner is friendly, but just another salesman that tries to shake you down for as much as he can. He sold us a tour of 220€ (4 persons) to see Saqarra, Memphis, lunch and the Giza pyramids. Entrance fees not included. When we proposed 200€ he said ok, but only because he would wave his commission but then if we could give him a tip in return. This was our first excursion and the worst. Although specifically asking for a guide that spoke good English, we got one that was hard to understand and not very motivated so we were very dissapointed. Doing it differently later in Luxor we realized how much we overpaid. You can Uber your way (ubercomfort, great cars) through Cairo for very very little and it works great, you don't have to negotiate. There are guides at the sites that you can hire after you enter. You might have to negotiate a little. In valley of the kings we had a great guy for 30€, and Karnak temple a nice lady for 15€. The van was nice, the lunch ok but at the same restaurant as all the other tourists that come on tourbuses. Knowing what driver and guide get paid, the owner definitely made a killing on this tour. - The bathroom is as old as the pyramids, and has a permanent bleech smell. Showerhead clogged. - Street is very noisy, windows don't close well. The 4.30 am prayer from the mosque felt as if the speaker was right in our bedroom. - Rundown area, although a few km from the pyramids, I would definitely not walk there. Not an area to go wander the streets with kids at night. My advice, spend a bit more and stay downtown Cairo, more fun in the evening and just uber yourself to the pyramids for a few bucks.
